Beginning in the 1940s, women united by family and separated by time were bound by a profound connection and a shared desire to capture their experiences in writing. Their words come together to form a lasting tribute to love, legacy, and the timeless art of expression.
Pieces of Us is a collection of poems, songs, quotes, thoughts and haikus from one mother, and her six daughters.
The voices of seven women spanning over eight decades.
With the passage of time much of the writing has been lost or forgotten.
This book is a collection of some of what remains.
Seven women, all living in different time periods connected by a family bond, each choosing at some point to put pen to paper and share their feelings and experiences, to share pieces of their lives.
